The way you think has an incredible power over how you feel, so knowing how to have a more positive outlook can give you the best chance of resiliency during more challenging times.
Three of my top tips to maintain a positive outlook during challenging times
- Surround yourself with likeminded people to raise your energy
- Remind yourself that these challenging times & your emotions are only temporary
- Switch off from content that makes you feel worse & engage in uplifting content (social media, films etc..)
It’s so important to keep your focus on looking forward rather than looking back on the past. But using how we reacted/acted in the past can help as a learning opportunity to help us plan for the future.
If all strategies fail to work, you can always call a friend, a family member or a therapist to talk things through.
